I recently graduated with an MSc. in Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics from Queen鈥檚 University Belfast, where my love for data analytics in healthcare grew. This culminated in my thesis focusing on utilizing artificial neural networks (specifically variational autoencoders) for phenotype discovery in colorectal cancer. This solidified my commitment to learning how merging machine learning aspects with healthcare can enhance patient-centered care. I鈥檓 excited about my upcoming internship at ESNEFT NHS because I鈥檓 looking forward to being able to apply my academic expertise to industry settings. I鈥檓 also interested in learning more about their community and hospital initiatives and contributing to their impactful work.
